Bilt Hotel Booking- Winner!!

I’m attending the Points & Miles conference October 16-18 (currently sold out, I believe).  I had already reserved a room using the conference’s discount code for $311.36.  But I wanted to use my Bilt $200 semi-annual hotel credit and up to $100 in monthly Bilt Cash towards a hotel booking.

Bilt has the conference’s hotel, the Holiday Inn Chicago Oakbrook by IHG, with a King room for $311.06.  Curiously, the conference’s rate is $311.36.  IHG’s website shows the rate is $343.68.  So this was a big win- using the Bilt credits and saving money vs. IHG’s own rate.  The hotel is only costing me out of pocket $11.06, which is essentially the same as the Conference’s rate, but I saved $300 by using Bilt’s Hotel credit and $100 Bilt Cash.  Winner!!
