How this Blog is Different

This is a blog about my day-to-day tactics for earning and spending Points & Miles.  My plan is to complement- not replace- any of the travel blogs out there. I’m not going to report any news unless it directly impacts my plans for earning & spending Points & Miles.

My Strategy

Overall, my focus is on earning and using Points for business & first class travel and staying in high-end hotels. I use Points & Miles to pay for this travel. For some short trips, I will travel in Economy, and will use cash when the value is not there to use Points.

I earn Points & Miles largely from credit card sign-up bonuses and leveraging category bonuses on my credit cards.

About Me

I’ve traveled the world for business and pleasure. I’m a former high-tech product manager, which gave me the opportunity to visit customers and Engineering teams all over the world. Now, I’m working as a Travel Advisor at Fora, helping people get good value from their travel dollars. I’m also helping people get great value from their credit card Points and Miles, and how to earn them quickly.
